Our wooden swings are a beautiful and nostalgic addition to any garden, great for young and old.
  • Locally grown plantation Hoop Pine with child safe LOSP preservative.
  • Hand spliced sailing rope, UV stabilised.
  • Rope length adjusters.
  • 2 x rope straps for hanging
To Hang: (see photos)
wooden swing adjuster Wrap the straps supplied around the beam/branch or eye bolt, feed the loop through just above the knot. Adjust knot so the loop is 10 -15cm long. Thread the swing rope through the loop until wooden swing seat is at the desired height.
Connect to adjuster - Open hinged latch, feed a loop of rope through from behind, close latch and pull tight.

Use the rope straps provided and hang as shown in the photos here. Make sure the surface it's hanging on is not rough or sharp. If neccessary wrap some rubber or heavy fabric around the beam or branch for protection. If using eye bolts use stainless steel with a minimum diameter of 8mm.

The swings are wonderful. The only problem was that even though I ordered ones with the shortest ropes, they were far too long for our swing frame. Now when we swing, our hands often get scratched or pinched by the buckle piece. Otherwise though, we love them very much.
